Storm

Water. Consumption. Impact

How long will it take us to understand that global environmental impacts are our responsibility? Will we continue to be spectators or become protagonists?

This piece, submitted as part of the Oceanos call for entries, communicates a message of profound importance that invites reflection. It addresses the global impact of human actions, which often result in irreversible consequences in our contemporary world. In this creation, the fusion of two photographs with aquatic themes (one of which serves as the background for this text), combined with a digital intervention, reveals a deep perspective on our role on the planet and the responsibility that rests on our shoulders.

The central element of the artwork, a cycle unfolding from deep black and transforming into shades of blue and moments of vibrant pink, creates a turbulence that contrasts with the tranquility of the surrounding waters. This piece is both a testimony and a lament, a warning that if we do not change our behavior, we may continue to create disturbing reflections in the largest element of our planet: the oceans.

As we examine this work, we are confronted with the urgency of taking actions to protect our seas and ensure the preservation of this vital resource for future generations. It reminds us that through art, we can raise awareness and inspire positive change, and that our responsibility to care for our planet is crucial for the survival of all.

Each artwork is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
